~the anger cont'd
Delore had given up fighting a while ago, he almost felt betrayed, yet it felt so foreign to him since noone else had ever cared for him anyway. Looking around his new holdings, he noticed some scrawl on the wall just underneath the sink.
Checking to make sure the guard wasn’t watching, he slowly made his way there. At first it looked like a pile of gibberish, probably because none of it made any sense whatsoever, not in any language he knew anyway.
Closing his eyes, he had an idea and looked at the message closer and began decoding it. The resulted message was simple but it also comforted him instantly.
Looking at the guard and making sure that he was still not looking his way, Delore read it again to himself.
Delore,
I know you aren’t the real killer. I will let you out soon but please cooperate until then.
Isolde
Sighing, Delore resigned himself to having an uneventful time in his cell and dozed off. No use in wasting energy when it was obvious that he’d have to stay in longer if he didn’t behave himself.
