Drabble (200 Words)
She stood at the water's edge and the breeze pulled her hair back. A smile graced her features. It was small and yet it rivalled the rising sun in its glow. She spread out her arms and welcomed the coming dawn, tasting the salt in the air as it rushed past, and feeling small droplets of water landing on her skin as it crashed against the rocks. Her feet were bare and the waves caressed her feet and soaked the bottom of her gown. The light touched her toes and worked its way up her body with every passing minute until it finally illuminated her face. As the light touched her hair, the blonde and brown that fluttered in the breeze seemed to give the appearance that she had a halo; the white cloak tugging behind her added to her angelic appearance by giving her wings. Her eyes closed and she welcomed a new day, a new hope, a new beginning, for her final smile, her final heartbeat and her final breath. They had said it was over, and she had accepted it. So here she was with her final stand for the world that she would never see again...
I should just sleep already...too bad for the sad music...
