Drabble (200 Words)

She stood at the water's edge and the breeze pulled her hair back. A smile graced her features. It was small and yet it rivalled the rising sun in its glow. She spread out her arms and welcomed the coming dawn, tasting the salt in the air as it rushed past, and feeling small droplets of water landing on her skin as it crashed against the rocks. Her feet were bare and the waves caressed her feet and soaked the bottom of her gown. The light touched her toes and worked its way up her body with every passing minute until it finally illuminated her face. As the light touched her hair, the blonde and brown that fluttered in the breeze seemed to give the appearance that she had a halo; the white cloak tugging behind her added to her angelic appearance by giving her wings. Her eyes closed and she welcomed a new day, a new hope, a new beginning, for her final smile, her final heartbeat and her final breath. They had said it was over, and she had accepted it. So here she was with her final stand for the world that she would never see again...

I should just sleep already...too bad for the sad music...

Drabble (120 Words)

You won't find me here. It's cold and lonely, and I know I said I'd be with you forever, but I can't do that anymore. I never want to leave you, but you deserve so much better. You could have someone to hold you, to keep you warm when the nights grow cold, but all I'd ever do is take your heat, take your light and never let you see they joy you bring. I know you wish I'd stayed, that it was alright that I couldn't show you, but I know of one who could light your world as much as you light mine, and so I'll stand aside so you can feel the love you let me feel...

I'm sprouting garbage...it's the song...

Drabble (140 Words)

The sun strikes the water giving it a gentle orange glow. There are mountains further into the distance, and it's a little chilly, but the sun and your body are keeping me warm. Your arms are still wrapped around me and even though the world is such a beautiful place here, I can't imagine anywhere better than with you. The clouds look like they're stretching out to reach for us, as if they want to be a part of what we have. But you know as well as I do that they'll never get there. The boat rocks slightly as the wind blows and a small ripples make the water look like rumpled silk. The shadows are getting longer, and I wonder if it's going to be day or night soon, because every second here with you, feels like eternity.

I was looking at a picture...

Always

Find me, please
I feel like I am lost
Upon a road that winds and turns
With no end within sight

Hold me, please
I want to know you're there
I cannot last another night
Without you in my arms

Stay here, please
I know you'd rather leave
But I wish you saw what you mean
To my heart and soul

Good bye, fare well
I'll miss you cause I need you
Yet you'll never know
Forever Yours,
Always
