The Dream...

Lady, let they imagination make a boat, a boat of love, hope, truth, knowledge and soul. Then let that boat rest upon a river, a river full of dreams both good and bad. And let the time which comes and goes be the current that pulls you down this waterway. Now approach the end of this journey, where you will be thrown down a waterfall. But you cannot fear, for here is where your nightmares end, because it is here that your boat will spread it's wings, wings that shine with beauty and freedom, and changes your transport from boat to Pegasus. Upon this ride you now have, let your eyes see everything, let your heart sing in exultation as it is released from fear, from pain, from worry. Let your eyes take in what you never thought your imagination could do for you. On this journey that you take, I hope that the dream will never end, for this is where I will leave you. If you ask, I might tell you where you could go from here. But this is your dream now, feel free to live it.

The sweeping grace of the wings of thy ride takes thee over land and ocean alike, with wind that flows through your hair like water and sunlight that dances on your skin. There are plains and plains of open land before reaching a forest. As the Pegasus lands, you approach the wilderness of the trees. You cannot stop, you are merely here to observe. So you see the trees, with a deep green that can only be found in the wild untouched lands and a darkness that seems to shed light upon the surroundings. The sunlight that had been so sweet now seemed so harsh and glaring. Amongst the trees, there are sounds of birds, of animals that scuttle. You see cute animals that stay closer to the shadows but can be seen so clearly. Through the depth of the woods, you glance and see a clearing ahead. As you approach it, the woods become less dense and you enter a small clearing, a clearing that is empty but for a little cottage. The wood is near rotten on it, and it seems a very bedraggled place. However, it holds a faint charm and upon opening the door, you enter a room that seems filled with elegance. As the door shuts behind you, you are in a palace. One where every thing seems to glow with its own natural light...

As thy eyes wander over the room, thy body drifts further away, you find yourself going up stairs aplenty and you go through many rooms as your body takes you through the palace. As your journey continues, you find that the lights are beginning to get duller and duller until you find yourself shrouded in darkness. But it is not darkness that oppresses you. In fact, it seems determined to carry you away and you feel as though you are floating on darkness. As you close your eyes, a gentle humming reaches your ears and it slowly drifts you further and further into this enchanted land. The very air around you seems to be heated and warmth glides over your ethereal form. As your eyes open, you realise that you sit upon the moon. You can see the earth that moves, so far yet so close and you can see the stars without a single hindrance at all. Everything seems perfect here, as though there is some kind of harmony that makes everything balanced and together. As you lose yourself in the moment, you realise that the moon seems to be drifting with you. And as you look over your shoulder you can feel something tug at you, as though it wants you to go to it. Succumbing to the feeling, you allow yourself to be drawn away. Your heart seems to sing in harmony with a song that you cannot hear but you think you should know. It seems to be full of emotions and you feel your heart reaching out to it. As your body is pulled towards this unseen force, you know that nothing could harm you and you feel as though your entire body is surrendering. You close your eyes for a mere moment but when you open them again, you look into the eyes of your parents. Their eyes are glowing with unshed tears and you want to go to them and hug them and never let go. They seem to try to talk to you, but no sound can you hear. But you feel the weight of their words upon your mind. They hand you something that is wrapped under piles of tissue paper. As you are intent upon unravelling its secrets, you do not realise that your parents have gone. But you feel the love that comes to you from the package in your hands....

The love sweeps over you and you feel joy to your very depths and it sings to you and brings you deep elation. sighing as the sensation that had washed over you falls to a thrumming through your heart you look around the room that you are now in. it seems to be an ordinary house, so normal it is unnerving. But it is also full of a familiarity that you try so hard to place. Holding onto the small orb of pure love that your parents gave you, you float out of the room, entering a small hallway, as you flit from room to room, you find everything so normal it is almost dull, nothing is abnormal; nothing is unusual or even unique. It seems almost stereotypical, everything seems perfect. As you realise that, you feel a presence come from behind you and the anticipation of them reaching you over runs your original thought of running away. Something inside tells you to stay there, though you do not know who is telling you not to move, you seem to recall trusting this inner voice and stay as you are. As a hand touches your shoulder, you whip around but the hand is gone, looking around you, you cannot see where the presence has gone to. As you return to your original place, you notice something you hadn’t seen before. A small gap is in the wall and is just big enough for your finger to slip through. As you carefully pry the board back, you see a silvery coloured liquid that seems to be there as a doorway. Looking through, you see nothing but silver, putting your finger through, you feel that your finger is warm and you realise how cold it is in the room. Hoping that you make the right decision, you step forward and through the gateway and feel the liquid slide against you skin. It is cool and seems to soothe away every problem in your mind. As you step away from the gateway, it seems as though you have spent eternity in it and you look at your hands almost expecting them to be wrinkled, but not entirely surprised to see that they aren’t. Looking around for the first time, you realise that your back is starting to burn as the sun glares at you from above. Finding a large tree standing nearby and walk towards it. As you take a step away, you glance behind and find that you can no longer see the door which had shown you the way into here. Under the cool shade of the tree, you see that you are in a glade. There is grass that is such a pure green you begin to wonder if you ever want to leave. The sun begins to set and it casts a purplish glow on the horizon and your breath leaves you as you see its beauty and it is imprinted onto your mind. As darkness settles around you, you realise that the tree is glowing behind you and you lean closer to inspect it. A hand grabs for you and you find yourself tumbling into the dark abyss with no clue as to where you are going or who grabbed you...

Closing your eyes, you begin to pray. With all the strength you can muster, you hope that you will have a soft landing at least. A hand touches you softly on the shoulder. It feels just like the touch from the ordinary house and your eyes pop open. But you are greeted with darkness and you begin to think you were imagining things. Giving a deep sigh, you resign to whatever the fates decide. A deep laugh comes from right in front of you and your hand shoots out and hits something warm and remotely flesh like. Whispering, you ask who's out there and though your heart pounds with fear, you do not let go of the contact that you have with whoever is there. Evil or not, that person was one of the few others that have been in your dreams for the entire time and the last thing you want is for him to disappear like your parents. A soft chuckle can be heard right next to your ear and warm breath reaches your skin. Though you are not cold, you shudder and the voice only laughs more. It whispers into your ear, and though you cannot hear what they are saying and it seems to make no sense, you are deeply comforted. Arms wrap around you and you feel safe and your every dream seems to begin and end there. The voice is deep and soothing and you assume it is a man, especially since you lean against his chest and you are certain there is nothing there that says otherwise. As his voice sends you into peace, his touch is making your heart race and though the combination is confusing, you don’t want to ever let it go. Suddenly, as though dunked in cold water, you find yourself in a paddock. A horse gallops past you and you feel a sense of deep loss as the contact with whoever the man was is lost. The horse canters to a stop before you. It is a beauty and although you know little on horses, you know that this is an extremely rare wild horse. Unsure what to do, you reach out a hand as though to touch it. An inch away from it, you hesitate and the horse immediately steps forward and a shudder courses through your body. As you look into its eyes, you have a feeling that you have seen those eyes before. The horse has already decided what to do next and throws you onto its back. Before you can analyse what has just happened, it begins to gallop at a breakneck pace and you are forced to toss everything out of your head as you cling on for dear life. As though the horse can sense your fear, it instantly slows down and gradually you begin to get used to the rhythm and you seem to become part of the horse. Closing your eyes, you savour the feeling as you have savoured the others in your dreams, and store it for later recollection. You hear a change in the sound as the hoofs hit a new surface. As you open your eyes, you find yourself in the beginning of a rainforest. The horse slows down and you look around as you stop altogether in a small clearing. Suddenly you wonder how you would get past this suddenly denser foliage and go to the other side. Something tells you that you must go through it, but it seems to be a wall and doesn’t want you to let you enter. As you ponder, you slide off the horse and turn around to take a look at what you have just ridden through. the trees are fairly far between but you can barely make out the open field that you had originally been in. as you turn back around to face the wall of trees, you realise that the horse is no longer by your side. Instead, a man stands before you. The tops of his ears end past his head and it is obvious you stand before an elf. his face is of purity and is full of angelic nature and as he stands there, studying you as you study him, he seems to reach a final decision and sweeps his arm out, as though welcoming you into his home and the vines that hang off the trees come apart like a curtain and reveals a path. As you peer through this new opening, you seem to see lights glowing further up ahead, where the sun can no longer reach through the dense leaves. The light flashes off a smooth wall and you wonder if it was really there as you follow this elf into what seems to be his home...

As you follow the elf, you begin to wonder at the silence in the forest. You never noticed it, but most sounds you have heard so far have only occurred when you couldn’t see. Closing your eyes, a sudden onrush of sound is thrown at you and you almost stumble from the overload. Snapping your eyes open, the sounds are instantly gone and you are left to follow the strange elf on a silent trek. As you ponder this strange happening the elf stops in front of you and you just manage to stop before you crash into him. Peering around him, you see that you stand before a gigantic double door. As it opens, it slowly reveals a hall to be rivalled and you stand in awe before it. As you look up, you realise that there are nothing but leaves to cover the sky, it also explains why it's so drafty in there. You are ushered inside and you stand in the middle of the hall. There are stairs directly in front of you, the doors are behind you and there are side doors to both sides of you. The stairs are gigantic and as you examine them you realise that it's wood or more correctly a tree, it had been carved out and intricate designs were etched all over it. Looking around, you realise that all the walls are made of the same wood, not a single piece was stuck together. In awe, you realise that you are standing inside a tree, and by the looks of things, only one tree. As you try and imagine how big the tree used to be, the elf came back and ushers you into a study that is off to the left. It’s fairly plain, much like the rest of the house, and you begin to fidget, unsure of how to act. A lady walks in, she is full of elegance and she seems to fill the room with beauty though she does not look particularly stunningly beautiful. She sits down gracefully and indicates that you should do the same. As you sit there, you wonder how you will communicate with each other since noise seems to be out of the picture. Closing your eyes you hear her speak to you almost instantly, her voice is cultured and what many would consider beautiful. She tells you of the past of this great land, and how beautiful it once was. She tells you how the people worshipped the land. They worshipped its sounds and its beauty. The gods were content in the beginning, since it was their creation that the people were worshipping. But slowly, their minds changed. At first it was only a few, but eventually many came to dislike the neglect that the people were giving them and in punishment, they made a new law by which this earth would run by. Every person would only see or hear at any one time. You could not do both and therefore the gods ceased to be in existence. The harboured dislike made the gods burn out since no one worshipped them anymore. But the law remained unchanged. Generations came that had never heard and seen at the same time and gradually language became something that was harder to learn and harder to pay attention to and so it faded and now, only those of old or learned backgrounds will ever know it. As these images flashed in your mind, you heard a great loss in her voice and on the final word, her voice cracked. Not much but enough for you to know that it was a story that cut her to the heart. As she finished her story, you open your eyes and you see her open hers, tears stream down her face and the face of beauty that was before you is crushed and seems to be silenced. On impulse, you go towards her and comfort her with a hug, sending as much love as you can to her and you wonder how it was to live in a world without sound or without sight. As her sobs subside, you vow that you will do all within your power to let these people see the beauty of their land for ever more...

The lady opens her eyes and looks at you, her face is daringly open, and you see just how vulnerable she is. Taking in a deep breath you close your eyes and you somehow sense that she has as well. You ask her to take you to the place where the gods were worshipped and she reluctantly agrees. As you open your eyes, you see nothing at all. The lady tells you that darkness settles fast here and she moves away as though she knows exactly where everything is. You follow her by touch alone and you feel the ground change from leaf litter to grass. The night air brushes by and sends chills up your spine. Something seems to be calling you; your heart aches as though it wants to be somewhere and can feel that it is close. The lady turns around and you see a faint light up ahead. Closing your eyes, the lady tells you that the light will lead the way, but she cannot go any further. You thank her for her help and gather your courage to continue the descent to the patch of light that seems to disappear into the hillside. Careful not to trip, you gradually drift closer to the light. As you reach it, you step into the light only to find yourself in absolute darkness. Arms surround you in a warm embrace and you feel yourself sinking into the person. As they start whispering, you realise it is the man from before, the one that had whispered sweet nothings to you. Now however, they seemed to be held with urgency and his embrace seemed to be trying to protect you from something. His whispers warn you that danger is approaching. He tells you to try and get away, to protect yourself. You scream at him and tell him that you don’t want to let go, that you want to stay with him forever. You realise that your heart is already given to him, and you suddenly realise that the one that you have is his. At this point you hold onto him. Love is such a simple emotion yet so extremely strong. It threw you out from the doorway and you find yourself bathed in morning sunlight. Trying not to groan from the pain, you put your hand down onto the ground, but instead of touching the ground, you touch a wing. Looking next to you, you see the man for the first time. He is pale in the sunlight and not overly handsome, but not exactly hard on the eyes. His body has two wings that have been splayed to his sides. As your gaze wanders lower, you realise that he isn’t exactly clothed and you look away quickly. A blush creeps across your face and you feel him start to stir. You wonder what to do so that he'll be covered and you don't need to embarrass him or yourself. He sits up and you close your eyes. You try and control your sudden desire and stare him in the face. He looks at you and down your body and you find that you are naked too. Closing your eyes you start to hope that you'll wake up. This was more than a little embarrassing. Someone comes from behind you and he jumps up ready to defend you. The guy merely falls to the ground laughing. He holds a sack in his hand and throws one to the angel before you and one to you. Looking inside you realise it's clothes. Not your own, but at least it would cover your embarrassment. As you put your clothes on, you get a vague sense of deja vu as the clothes that you and he are wearing seem so familiar. As though you've worn it before, been here before, done this before...

A touch on your shoulder alerts you to the fact that he is dressed and ready to go. As you follow him into the forest, you look around in search of the man who had thrown you the clothes that you wear but he is nowhere to be found. Looking him over, you realise that he is wearing fairly formal clothes. Where your parents had worn their favourite clothes, the elf man had worn some kind of cloak and the lady had worn a set of robes that seemed to cover a dress of quite complicated stitchery, you had been wearing average boring clothes that you always wear and had been extremely comfortable. Now, though you are still comfortable, you are uneasy. He is wearing a white shirt that seems to hang a little and cling a little. It was fairly average, showed off most of his muscles and as you check him over, you realise that most of your friends would probably be drooling by now. You laugh to yourself and the irony that this dream has placed you in. he seems to feel your humour because he turns around and looks at you. Albeit a little confused but still with an amused half smile on his face. You shake your head and he continues scouting out the area. As you look yourself over, you realise that you wear a somewhat matching costume to the one he is wearing. Yours is a two piece with a skirt and singlet. The skirt ends around the middle of your thigh and allows for a lot of manoeuvrability the singlet is fairly tight and you blush as you realise that it accentuates every curve in your body. Blushing you hope that there's a change of clothes somewhere nearby. As you think on it, looking past the fact that all the clothes that you both wear are extremely revealing, it is also made to allow as much freedom of movement as possible whilst keeping it modest. This starts you thinking on what it is that would need you to use your body to its full potential. The man before you suddenly stops and you are forced to skid to a halt lest you crash into him. As you peer around him, you see that you have reached a clearing. Looking back, you see only trees and realise that while you were so busy thinking about how you look, you hadn't paid any attention to where you were going. The man before you puts a finger to his lips in the standard sign for silence and you nod. You close your eyes and he whispers in your ear to stay where you are. He jumps up onto one of the branches and disappears among the trees. A crash nearby makes you swing your head around, your heart thumping wildly. Millions of fears run through your head and you have a sudden queasiness make you nauseous. Stopping the thoughts, you look into the clearing. Without the man in your way, you can see that the clearing is large, and there is a cabin to the side, close to the trees. following a train of thought, you wonder what will be inside and whether there'll be food to feed both of you, with a start you realise that he is nowhere around. Looking around you wonder whether you trust was misplaced in him and you scan the entire area in a hope to catch a glimpse of him at least. As you stand there wondering where he went, you also wonder why he left. A noise from behind makes you swivel 180 degrees to meet whatever it is. You hide behind the tree and peer around to see a beast that is at least three metres tall. It looked vaguely human except for the tail that you could see flicking back and forth behind it and the hooves it had for feet. It’s eyes were black and you could see your reflection in it. As you looked into its eyes, you didn’t realise that you had come out of your hiding place until you felt something cold against your neck that drew blood. Fear made you silent and your eyes widened in shock. Looking down, you saw that he had a knife to your throat. Closing your eyes, you wish he wasn’t there. But as you open them again, he is still there, the knife still real and the blood ran down your neck and was soaked into your singlet. As you stood stock still, you start to wonder what you are doing here if you are going to be killed by the brute, but looking at the guy, you see that he wasn’t planning on killing you anytime soon. In fact, it was probably the last thing on his mind right now. As you silently cursed your clothes, you begin to pray and hope beyond hope that the man you were with comes to save you...

As you give up on him ever coming, and the brute takes a step forward, you close your eyes. You imagine the man that had left you flying in from above and chopping his head off. Taking all your heart and mind, you imagine that it happens and as you open your eyes, the man falls from above and swiftly cuts the brutes head off. your head suddenly feels like a ton of weights has been thrown at it and you suddenly pass out and though it feels like a second, when you open your eyes, you are lying on a fairly comfortable bed and staring at a half rotted wooden ceiling. As you lie there wondering if you really had passed out or just changed into another dream, a sound alerts you to the fact that you aren’t the only one in the room. Jumping, you take the blankets with you and huddle into the corner of the bed, which consequently was in the corner of the room. The man from before is sitting on the ground and a spark tells you that he lit a fire. Your curiosity makes you want to know what he is doing but you refrain from doing anything in case he is merely waiting for you, the memory of the fight still fresh in your mind. As a sweet smell enters your nose, your mouth begins to water and your stomach makes a loud growl that you are certain everybody within a twenty kilometre radius could probably hear it. As you debate whether to sate your hunger or try and stay in your secure little hole, you almost slap yourself for being such an idiot and thinking that being in this hole would somehow save you if he really wanted to kill you. Getting out of the bed, you walk towards the man, wary at all times of every movement that he makes. He seemed to be amused as he watched you sit down and wolf the food down. You never realised how hungry you really were and the food tasted great. Everything was perfect, as though he knew exactly how you liked your food. Looking at him, you saw that he was clearly amused. Especially since his face wasn't trying to hide it anymore. As you finish and sit back, you sigh, content. Closing your eyes, you hear his voice. It is smooth and rich, and something you would consider uniquely male. He tells you that his name is Lann. He is from the land of Gower, a land that is now shrinking slowly. Where he comes from, you can talk and see at the same time. Everything is clean, is pure, as its name suggests. He tells you that the land is being defiled by a man named Kier. Apparently, he came into existence one day and began destroying the land. Making people believe that the gods were turning on them out of jealousy. However, the people don’t know that he has imagined the gods and also unimagined them, just like you had imagined Lann saving you from the brute; apparently Kier could imagine that the land was being defiled. But it took will and energy. Your attempt had shown you that it could make someone extremely weary just doing a simple imagining. But once it is imagined that a person believes in a certain way, that person would imagine for you and you can have the person imagine what is happening on their own. As you digest this, you realise that the old lady had probably destroyed her own life without realising it. As you sit there thinking of ways to try and help Gower become the place it once was, Lann gets up and leaves, telling you that he was going to make sure it was still safe here. Starting small, you imagine that the air was blowing around you. Suddenly a gale whips through the entire room and you imagine that is blows softly. As the gale slowly dies down, you sigh in relief. Imagining things happening wasn’t exactly easy. Sitting down, you continue practicing and train your mind into making things move on its own...

After a while, your mind seems to be under some strain and you look out, it's pitch black and starting to get cold. Your mind has become fairly adept at imagining things and you imagine a fire has started in the fireplace. The room is instantly lit and much warmer than before. You begin to wonder when Lann will get back; it has to have been a while since he has been gone. You decide that you should possibly try and look for him if he doesn’t come back soon. Lying down, you stare up and through the ceiling and into the infinite bounds of the stars. A footstep nearby makes you realise that you are no longer alone. You wonder who it is and what they want, you begin to hope it's Lann with some food. A hand grabs you and covers your mouth almost instantly. Confusion and surprise make you gasp and you inhale some kind of toxic substance that knocks you out almost instantly. As you open your eyes in a completely different location, you realise that you are chained to the wall and every person in the room is similarly tied up. As you looked around, you notice that there doesn’t seem to be any doors or windows. In fact, it was as though you were dropped from nowhere. There are about twenty people in the room, and it was cylindrical in shape. Everyone could easily see everyone else in the room. There was a flat ceiling and the ground was covered in spikes and too your dismay, there were spikes right beneath you too. As you tried to think of a way to get out, your mind finally drifted to Lann. The frightful question of where he was finally made it to the conscious part of your mind and you ponder his wellbeing. As you close your eyes, you imagine that there are no spikes beneath you. The mental strain that it required makes your head reel and you have an overwhelming need to vomit. Remembering what Lann said, you decide to try and make the others imagine that we were all free. They held it in there heads that you were all in a meadow with the sun shining and lying in a circle on the ground. Suddenly, sunlight hits your body and warmth spreads into your limbs again as you lie there, slowly gathering your strength again. With your eyes still closed, you give an experimental tug and find that your arms are really free to move. Sitting up, you open your eyes for the first time and let your eyes adjust to the bright glare of the sunlight. You see the others are already walking in separate directions, and you presume that they are each going home. Looking around clearly for the first time, you see that there is a castle upon a hill further up ahead. You also notice that every single person seems to be heading in an opposite direction to it. A child tugs on your sleeve and you look down at it. The young girl looks at you with eyes of innocence and you feel ashamed that you had any thoughts of anger or annoyance. The girl merely looks at you and you feel confused as to what she wants. Suddenly, she changes appearance and instead of a small child, a full grown man stands before you. He peers down at you and you hastily jump up as though shocked. He seems to study you from top to bottom and you do the same. He is wearing a black robe that seems to shimmer in the darkness. He speaks to you in a voice that seems too deep for hearing and tells you that his name is Kier. You study him with renewed interest and he looks at you as an equal. A voice speaks to you from behind. As though in your mind. It calls to you and tells you to help it. In confusion you wonder who has said it. You find yourself looking deep into the eyes of Kier and somewhere in the darkness, you see a faint light but it is squandered almost instantly...

As you stand there, staring into his eyes, he towers over you and you do not realise that the scenery has changed around you until a sudden chill passes through your body. Looking around, you feel both on edge and at peace at the same time. As Kier touches you gently on the arm, you shudder from more than the cold in the room. His hand passes over your arm as though he is checking to see if you are real. Closing your eyes, you will yourself not to give into temptation and touch him back. A whispered word makes you open your eyes in astonishment. looking around, Kier is no longer in the room and you almost sigh in relief until you look around more carefully to see that there is nothing in the room except a bed and a few paintings on the walls. The room isn’t big, but it isn’t exactly small either and you wonder what the point of being here is if the man was just going to leave you here. Trying to adjust yourself to the new room, Kier comes back, seemingly from out of the wall and you stand there with your eyebrows raised. He seems to smile smugly but before you can see properly through the darkness made by his hood, he pushes it back to reveal a man that most women would fall to their knees and beg just to see. Trying not to give into the temptation of touching the face, you sit down on the bed. His face is calm and didn’t reveal a single emotion. Impressed but unwilling to admit it, at least out loud, you ponder on why his face seems so familiar. Closing your eyes, the whispers reach your ears again, and you are bathed in sweet words that proclaimed undying love and eternal promises. As you open your eyes, you realise that Kier has moved nearby you and has kneeled to reach your ear better, his lips were still against your ear and you feel your heart flutter and every breath is a gasp. Standing up abruptly, you try to push away the idea that you may be falling for him at all. Practically praying that you aren’t falling for him, you don’t realise that he is behind you until you feel him pull you against him. Your mind shuts down and you give into temptation, melting against him you feel something try to tell you something. As though Lann himself was there, you jerk away from him and you are immediately defensive. You don’t know how it happened but you try and push out the way it had felt so right by telling yourself that he is merely using you since you are a threat to him. He looks at you surprised and you see the emotion in his face, but his eyes seemed to show something else. What seemed to look like disappointment, or even defeat. As though he knew you want him to leave, he bows down before turning around and leaving. Closing your eyes, you try to get your traitorous body to stop responding to his smell, the way he had stood, the way he looked and the way your body still burned where he had touched you. Sighing, you rub your hand against the back of your hand, trying to rub away the confusion. This had just become something extremely messy not to mention completely and utterly didn’t make sense anymore. You imagine yourself by Lann's side and when you open your eyes, you are standing beside Lann, but what you hadn’t expected was to have a knife at your throat. Looking at the person who holds the knife, you look into a calm and composed face of Lann. He smirked at your confusion and signalled to some men nearby. The ugly giant you had imagined to have died came forward too grinning viciously. Suddenly everything matched up, Lann wasn’t the one who was to help you; he had met you before you had even finished your journey through the cave and abyss. The man that ran through with the clothes, how he had disappeared after she had woken up from imagining. He had gone to betray her. He told her lies and muddled her mind. Fury replaces confusion as you glare at him. He merely laughs at you as his henchmen drag you away. You do not yell or scream. In fact you merely accept that this was all falsehood. But then your mind wanders to Kier and you wonder if he is really what Lann says he is. The last thought you have before the giant smacks you over the head is whether Kier was telling the truth after all...

As you open your eyes the next time, your head is pounding in absolute agony. As you try to move your head, your entire head throbs as though there is a war going on inside and it is starting to use nukes and bombs. Closing your eyes and trying to keep focus, you manage to look around once before the pain becomes almost unbearable and you try and press your hands onto your head to lessen the pain to find that your hands are tied behind your back. Getting slightly angry at yourself for not realising sooner, you imagine that you are in a park and there is no one in sight and nothing nearby. As you feel the air change and the sun shine on your face, you lift your hands to your head as it throbs even more and you lie down in an attempt to stop the throbbing, or at least provide a stationary location for it to slow a little and let you look around properly. As the pain eases a little, you sit up slowly and take a look around. The entire area is empty, except that the castle that Kier had been in was still in the background. Startled, you recheck the area, as fast as your head allows, and see that you are in the clearing that you were in when you escaped from the prison like thing. But now that you think about it you don’t know who's prison it was. It could've been Kier's just as easily as it could have been Lann's. As you close your eyes, you hear approaching footsteps and you fearfully look towards the sound. Kier is approaching, or at least a man in a cloak that looked like him. The same build, face and the same pull in your body that told you to go towards him. Your mind being weak as it is would probably have gone straight there if it weren’t for how painful it was to even attempt to get up. Kier takes his time to reach you and you suddenly realise why his face is so familiar. After seeing Lann again, you had looked at his face carefully, they looked alike. Not enough that a glance could tell you they were related, but enough to tell you that they were related if you studied their faces. The difference seemed to be that Lann had an angelic face, but was seriously fairly devious. Whereas Kier has a somewhat more troubled and devilishly handsome face, but if what he had said was true, and he really meant all that he had said, then he was definitely no angel, but at least honest. Frustrated, you don’t even realise that Kier is next to you until you breathe in his scent and let it wash over you. He takes your head in his hands and his touch is cool to your skin, easing the throbbing pain in your head until it is all gone. When you open your eyes, you meet his gaze and you stare into each others eyes. You feel worry and fear emanating from his body, but under the fear for you, there was love. And it wasn’t lust as she had felt with who she now guessed as Lann whilst in the abyss. It was love. Pure, untainted, sweet, sweet love. As you let it wash over you, you didn’t even realise he was kissing you, not to mention you were kissing back, until you felt his tongue in your mouth. As the kiss deepens, you feel someone else in the area, someone watching and as your mind comes rushing back after being subdued, you realise that this wasn’t the safest place to be right now. As you push him away gently, he seems to have finally sensed the trouble as well. A hard punch sends Kier flying far off and you are confused as you try and gather your bearings whilst an unknown but definitely gigantic man stands before you...

As you sit in front of the newcomer, you glance over him, starting from his feet up. He was wearing white pants, and it was white to the point where it seemed to be a hole, you could barely see creases of shadows on it. As you continued to scan upwards, you blush when you realise that he has no shirt on, but as you study his body, you almost thankful that he has no shirt because you can see every single dip and curve of his well toned figure and it is one hell of a figure. You look at him in appreciation before meeting him in the eye. In the time it took you to look him over, he had looked you over too and your gazes met as you both looked up. His eyes are a deep shade of blue and you shudder as you realise that neither Kier or Lann were evil, in fact, they were being played with because the man in front of you was the very man that was destroying the world slowly. You don’t know how you know, you can just feel it to your core; there was something wrong with him despite his apparent perfection. He seems to always get what he wants and it seems he currently wants you. As you suppress a shudder of fear and emotional turmoil, you try and be as nonchalant as possible about standing up and taking a step back. He takes a step forward and you try not to squirm, his stare is beginning to get really uncomfortable as you stand there. glancing around you see him reach for you out of the corner of your eye, and you imagine Lann there to slice his hand off, and almost instantly, Lann appears of seemingly nowhere and with a slice down, cuts his arm clean at the bone. The man adjusted fairly quickly and pulled his own blade out and cut back, with my mind, I used my imagination to watch Lann quickly dodge, but it wasn’t fast enough and the blade cut him across the chest, blood leaked out of the new wound and Lann stumbled back. Fighting nausea, you imagine as fast as you can, parries and blows are exchanged as the unknown man fights Lann and you without an arm. as your concentration wanes a bit, a quick blow lands on Lann's gut and Lann falls to the ground, blood running out of various wounds both small and big, but the most from the know punctured stomach. as you look at the man in shock, you finally remember what started this mess and look over at the prone form of Kier and then back to Lann, Lann saw you looking at Kier and he smiles at you, a smile of knowledge, acceptance and in a small way, love. as the man walks towards you, his arm still missing and blood running from wounds that had managed to be struck against him, he turned from Lann, obviously not expecting a fight or a comeback. Lann is obviously unable to move on his own, and he knows that. With a look that tells you everything, though you are taxed, you lend him some strength and have him stand and pick up the blade that had slid from his stomach to the ground mere moments before. He stands there, not really breathing anymore and with a nod from him that told you he is ready, you help him to stab the man that was fast approaching you, in the back. The blade went clean through and with a look of surprise, he looked down and back at a grinning Lann. Without a second thought, Lann was picked up, still grinning, and thrown into a tree nearby and he lands with a bone crunching thud and lies still, his eyes open but a smile plastered to his face. With horror, you run to him and as you realise that he is beyond help, you close his eyes and lay him in a more comfortable position. As you turn around, the man has already died, not that you take much note of him as you run past him to where Kier is lying still. You pray that he is alright, even though something in your heart tells you that he is no longer with you..

With your heart in your throat, you touch Kier's body. As your skin touches his, the warm flesh you remember is no longer warm, in fact, it is stone cold. Opening your eye, you let a tear drop fall. Followed by another. As you try to remember where you've been, you can't remember. Nothing makes sense, it's as though you completely forgot where you came from. A tear lands on the ground and is quickly followed by another. Your memory wipes out so slowly, but so quickly. You look behind you, it doesn’t make sense, and you don’t know who that man lying so peacefully is. With tears rolling down your face you try and remember how all this feels so familiar, like you've done this before. Looking down you find a man, you can’t remember who he is, but somehow you feel that you love him, or at least you should. With tears of frustration and pain rolling down your face, your world slowly shifts, the tears stop hitting the ground and begins hitting water. Ripples form and you sink into a world of darkness, you cannot remember where you were before anymore and your memories sink away until you can’t remember why you're crying. As you stand there in the abyss, confusion settles on you once again until you can’t remember what's going on. A light shines through slowly and you feel yourself gravitate towards it. Slowly you wake in your room, looking around you cannot see anything out of the ordinary except the book in your hand. As you look around confused, you cannot remember your dreams, or where you are for that matter. A lady walks in and she is holding a needle. As the drug takes effect and you drift into sleep, whispered words reach you from an unknown source. It says "lady, let they imagination make a boat, a boat of love, hope, truth, knowledge and soul"....

Alternate Ending - Happy
With your heart in your throat, you stumble towards Kier, pain shoots through your body with every attempt as weariness wears you down to the point where you feel as though you'll collapse at any moment out of sheer exhaustion. your mind is on Kier as you try your best to get to him, dreams of him dying trying to make you believe it's true, you don’t want him to be dead but something is trying to tell you that he is. As you get to his side, you realise that his entire body is cold and rigid, his neck is in a bad angle and it seems that he really is dead and nothing could possibly change that. Sitting with a start, you realise that you are lying in a warm bed. "Are you up love?" asks a voice that you seem to recall but cant put your finger on why. As you peer through half lidded eyes, you see someone's back, his body seems to remind you of someone and still you cannot place why. A smell assaults your nose and your stomach grumbles in response, getting up, you wince as muscles object to your need to move. As you moan in pain, the man is by your side almost instantly. "you shouldn’t be moving so much so soon," he says, a new smell assaults you, with widening eyes you realise that the man holding you now is no other than Kier himself, with sudden sheer joy, you hug him tight and he groans in protest at having wounds pressed. "Sorry," you whisper. He looks at you and you feel a warm fluttering in your heart. He lifts you up and carries you outside. As he takes you outside, the warmth of the sun envelopes you as your eyes adjust to the sudden extra light. He stops and you see that before you is the very Pegasus that you had seen before and had ridden before. It’s shining white coat gleams at you and as soon as you are on the ground you run towards it. stroking it and hugging it, Kier plants a kiss on your neck, "like it?" he asks, you nod, being enveloped in his kisses and hugs you do not realise that you are on the Pegasus, nor that the Pegasus is flying until you both stop to get air. Squealing in sheer delight, you ride into the sunset over mountains and valleys with the wind in your face and Kier at your back, always there ...forever..
